photobiology 0.9.2 (minor bug fixes)

Methods for tagging spectra have been edited so as to always add the same columns irrespective of the value of arguments. In some cases columns are filled with NAs. One additional column with the color for each waveband is now added.

backwards compatible

ggspectra 0.1.1 (2nd preview: new package)

New functionality

Added multiplot() function (unchanged from package photobiologygg). Improved stat_waveband().

Added color_guide(), waveband_guide().

Added ggplot() specialized methods for spectra, which use default mappings if mapping not explicitly supplied as argument to call.

Made plot() methods almost fully functional. "contribution" and "participation" summary values not yet implemented. Neither summaries for BSWFs. If requested these summaries will show as NaN (not a number) in the plots.

Compatibiliy with package photobiologygg

Compatibility with package photobiologygg is limited to plot() methods. These methods have the same formal arguments and produce very similar output for input that was valid in the old package. However, as all calculations of summaries and positions are done by group in ggplot stats they will work as expected in many situations where the old package would fail.

The stats and geom have been rewritten and will behave somehow differently than their older counterparts. New stats and functions are now provided. The annotate methods for spectra have all been replaced by stats. Function annotate_plot() is no longer available.

Please, report any problems you encounter, and suggest possible changes or additions to the functionality!

NOTE: Sources, and Windows binaries for R 3.2.x, are now available in the R-test repository.
